In 2023, Derek Hunter's novel, Anonymous Agnostic Antichrists, was released onto the world on December 5th, the 400th anniversary of the publication of the Shakespeare First Folio. Hunter believed his novel was based on a real historical manuscript given to him that proved the plays and poetry with Shakespeare's name on them were written by Thomas North and a large group of collaborators.
In early 2024, Hunter discovered that what he believed was wrong, and that a new historical document told a completely different story, that the Shakespeare Canon was actually written by the poet and translator, Thomas Watson, that he was the secret True Bard behind the works. Hunter says anonymous individuals, including a famous historian, proved to him with technological tools and government documents that the manuscript by Watson was in fact historical fact.
Like the plural Anonymous Agnostic Antichrists, the singular Anonymous Agnostic Antichrist is a work of fiction based on a real historical text, written in the early 1600's by Watson. Readers may choose to believe the story from 2023 or this new one from 2024, or they may choose to follow the path of the creator(s) of the Shakespeare Canon and embrace Doubt, Uncertainty, and Possibilities. Either tale may be the truth. But according to Hunter and the anonymous individuals who contacted him this time around, the true story is found here in the singular Anonymous Agnostic Antichrist.
May you enjoy the ride and decide for yourself.
NOTE: due to the book's length, it has been broken into two parts, Book One and Book Two.
