Love Chaos is a non-dogmatic, agnostic way of life, religion, philosophy. It is open to everyone, as long as you are inclusive of others as well. The basic premise of Love Chaos is that existence is chaotic in nature; the important thing to do in life is to focus on love, for others and ourselves, within this chaotic, unpredictable universe. Chaos is not seen as inherently bad, it can be helpful or harmful, but accepting and engaging within that unpredictability can help us with our lives.
To follow the path of Love Chaos is to have this as a guiding principle. It is also to accept Doubt, Uncertainty as the cornerstone for personal growth. From that starting point there is the practice of Love Chaos in daily living, in psychological self-awareness, growth, and actions, and finally in the practice of Magick. People can do all three steps - 1) Love Chaos as a guiding principle in daily living, 2) Love Chaos Psychology, and 3) Love Chaos Magick - or only one, or only two, it is up to you.
There are peer to peer support group circles, Love Chaos Dialogues and Love Chaos Catharsis, where people meet together online or in person to help each other deal with life experiences. There is also Love Chaos Mentorship, where people are able to reach out to me, Derek, the founder of Love Chaos, to use Love Chaos in their lives with a guiding hand.
To find out more, ask questions, begin the path of Love Chaos, you can communicate with me via Facebook or Twitter (search for Derek Hunter in both places) or by e-mail: DH.LoveChaos@gmail.com
There is a forthcoming book going into more detail on the three steps of Love Chaos, coming out in 2020.
For now there is the original book of Love Chaos, written in 2014, with 45 Chapters/Insights, concise understandings and perceptions of reality that is a starting point for the follower of Love Chaos, accompanied by visual imagery to help the reader change their perception.
Derek Hunter was recently interviewed by Keats Ross from the We the Hallowed podcast Pragmagick in Portland, Oregon. The interview is an excellent introduction into the life and work of Hunter, especially into Love Chaos. Click HERE for the interview.
Below is the Introduction to the first book, Love Chaos, the "Holy Bible" of this new religion, philosophy, way of life:
Why start a new religion? Why a new philosophy? Why a new way of life? How can I presume to think whatever I have to say is worth anyone’s time, let alone important enough to begin a new belief system? Aren’t there too many religions out there already? Aren’t all religions essentially dying anyway? Why even bother with coming up with something new? How can I presume to think Love Chaos is even new at all? Does the world really need a new religion, a new philosophy, a new way of life? Isn’t humanity finally at the point where we can start to live life without belief systems? And anyhow, what is Love Chaos?
I hope to answer these questions and more within this book. Consider this book the Holy Bible of Love Chaos. If you have purchased this book you are now a member of Love Chaos. You are now a practicing Love Chaos Individual. It’s up to you whether you wish to continue this path. But by reading this book you’ve taken the first few steps. After reading this book more steps will follow.
These steps will not be in the form of attending services every Sunday. It will not be in the form of paying annual dues. It will not be in the form of making secret oaths which you will be held to for the rest of your life. The only obligation is the living out of Love Chaos in your life, which has started with reading this book.
At this point Love Chaos is simply run and coordinated and organized by me, Derek Hunter. I founded Love Chaos in 2014 but it is something I have been working on for my entire life, especially since my teens. At the time of the publication of this book I am 36 years old so basically for the last 20 (or 36) years I’ve been both consciously and subconsciously preparing for this book and this new philosophy.
A few notes on the set-up/interior design/”look” of this book. Each chapter is simply one page. Facing each chapter’s page is a color: black, red, or white. There is a significance of why one color is facing each specific chapter/page, but not to be explained, at least not within this book.
What is important for the reader to know about the colors is the immediate subconscious effect the color has on the reader once seen. One thing should be clear is that traditional perspectives on these colors should NOT be taken into account, at least not as the main way to interpret them. Therefore, black does not necessarily equal “evil,” white “good,” nor red “love” or “hate.” The reader should simply allow the subconscious to respond without preconceived notions.
The chapters are also referred to as “Eyes” or “Insights” and thus why an Eye is placed at the top of each Chapter/Eye/Insight’s page. Each chapter is meant to provide an insight into life. The symbol of the Eye is very important in the philosophy of Love Chaos. Perception is Key.
